Entries must be submitted by:
23:59 on 20th May 2024 to be eligible for awards
23:59 on 1st June 2024 to be included in the year group screenings
All entries submitted before 23:59 on 1st June will be eligible for People’s Choice awards
We understand that this excludes some entries due to module submission deadlines. All entries that are unable to be submitted for awards this year will be eligible for submission at LUMA 2025.
The Awards
All awards will be presented at the GALA Ceremony on June 8th 2024. Winning entries will be screened.

Best Cinematography
Best Non-Fiction
Best Sound Mixing
Best Production Design
Best Post-Production
YOU vote on the People’s Choice Awards at each year group screening:
The winners of People’s Choice will be awarded, but not screened at the GALA
1st Year People’s Choice
2nd Year People’s Choice
3rd Year People’s Choice
All entries submitted for awards must have been made by School of ACT students within the department this academic year
Any School of ACT student that has made a film or tv show outside of the department (as part of societies, clubs or just for fun) is welcome to submit to be screened as part of our open category, but these will not be eligible for awards
